Moi International Sports Centre

Moi International Sports Centre (MISC) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kasarani, outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya. The stadium holds 60,000. It was built in 1987 for the All-Africa Games held in Nairobi. It is currently used mostly for football matches, the Kenya national football team plays most of its home games at the Kasarani stadium. Apart from the stadium, there is a 5,000-seater Gymnasium and an Aquatic complex as part of the Moi International Sports Centre.

Football teams Mathare United and Tusker FC use MISC as their primary home stadium. There is a cricket stadium and a golf course being built in the complex.

The stadium was hosting to the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards held in Kenya.

The stadium has been closed since January 2010 for major renovations that would include among others, making it an all seater stadium. Renovations are being carried out by a Chinese firm, Sheng Li Engineering Construction Company Limited. Work on the stadium was supposed to have been completed by December 2010 but that has since been pushed forward to July 2011.
